LOS ANGELES, Calif., February, 27 2023 — Today, the Sator ‘web3 television’ platform announced numerous media executives and seasoned television executives joining its already impressive Board of Advisors. Jamal Dauda (Fox, Blockchain Creative Labs), Dana McClintock (CBS), Sandy Climan (Universal, Lionsgate, CAA), Charlie Weiss (NATPE, C21), Sherrard Harrington (EONXI) and Priscilla Pesci (MGM, Warner).
Bringing a century of experience to Sator, these respective leaders come from outstanding achievements across television broadcasting, motion picture studios, professional sports organizations, major label music and global content streaming. McClintock is distinguished by 27 years at CBS, culminating with his position as Chief Communications Officer of the Corporation. Pesci’s 20 years of global operating experience has included MGM, Lionsgate, CBS and FOX. For over a decade, Dauda’s innovation has defined the intersection of Web3 and media, recently leading the in-house blockchain labs at FOX. More than 30 years in publishing and broadcast, Weiss brings unparalleled knowledge of streaming and broadcast industries’ key players, from NBC, HBO and Showtime to Amazon, Variety, NATPE and C21 where he currently advises. Lauded for their investments in Dapper Labs and NBA Top Shots as well as their pro-athlete LPs, Harrington and his partner Aaron Wilson open new doors for Sator throughout professional and collegiate sports, sports programming and athlete collaborations. Climan is renowned for his nearly 40-year track record in motion picture production, including Scorsese’s The Aviator, and his senior executive leadership at CAA, MGM, Lionsgate and MCA/Universal Studios.
Adding to the bench of talent advising Sator, these remarkable media veterans, thought leaders and operators are expected to accelerate Sator’s onboarding of content partnerships, licensing and programming growth.
